School Readiness Program

Starting school is a big milestone—for both children and parents. At Budding Brains, our School Readiness Program is designed to prepare children with autism for the classroom by building the academic, social, and emotional skills they need to succeed.

What We Focus On 🌸

  • Classroom Skills – Sitting, following routines, and completing group activities.
  • Early Learning – Shapes, colors, numbers, letters, and pre-literacy skills.
  • Communication – Asking for help, answering questions, and interacting with teachers.
  • Social Skills – Sharing, turn-taking, and making friends.
  • Self-Help Skills – Managing snacks, toileting, dressing, and basic independence.
  • Emotional Readiness – Building confidence and coping strategies for new environments.
